Kingdom Heirs

The Kingdom Heirs have been busy as ever with their normal schedule at Dollywood throughout the year and as Dollywood closes for the season, it's tour time.  In the midst of the day to day schedule, we have managed to crank out a new CD called "Something Good" spotlighting the phenomenal vocals of our newest member,, Loren Harris.  If you haven't picked up or downloaded your copy yet, you can do so through the Kingdom Heirs digital download store here.     

Now with that said, the Kingdom Heirs still aren't finished in the studio.  That's right!  They are in the studio right now working on their latest Sonlite Records album and it is going to be incredible!  With great song writers like Rodney Griffin, Dianne Wilkinson, Rebecca J. Peck, Kyla Rowland, Gerald Crabb and Dennis Murphy,penning some fantastic material for the guys to perform, this album is sure to be among the greatest in the Kingdom Heirs catalog.  We are officially kicking of this new record with a bang!  We haven't decided on a title just yet but here's an inside look of the tracking so far and there will be more things posted as we go along through the recording process.  Click on the Inside The Studio link and enjoy!

The Kingdom Heirs

  The year 2016 was an exciting year to say the least.  Some doors close while others open and usher in a new excitement and endless possibilities.  With that said, the Kingdom Heirs are looking for another incredible year in 2017!  
  We have already been busy in the studio working on an album scheduled to be released in late January.  The digital download is available NOW!  Click here to purchase your copy. "Something Good" has a lot of familiar songs on it that we have always wanted to do!  Songs like: The Master of the Sea, I Know Who Holds Tomorrow, I Want To Walk With My Lord, Telling The World About His Love, How Long Has It Been, You Better Hurry Up, I Just Feel Like Something Good Is About To Happen and Never Made A Promise.  Also featuring the popular song, Calvary Answers For Me (featuring Loren Harris) as well as Damascus Road!  We can hardly wait to start performing these great songs!  
  But that's not all!  We just went through the process of narrowing down and picking the songs for the next Sonlite Records album that will be coming out later this year.  Yes folks, we are busy recording brand new music and it was very hard to narrow the songs down for this album.  So many incredible songs to choose from and we can't wait to get in the studio and start recording them!  


Now on to our winter tour.  January 12th, kicked off our official starting date for 2017 and we are looking forward to performing at a city near you!  So come out and join us!
We only tour for 8 weeks a year and we are very excited to be in North Carolina for a few dates as well as South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and our only appearance in West Virginia January 28th (http://www.gospelmusicconcerts.com).  Also we will be performing in Virginia, Florida, taking a cruise to the Bahamas on Templeton Tours, along with performances in our great home state of Tennessee and then ending our winter tour performing
in the Northern states with performances in Michigan, Indiana and Illinois.  There are annual dates that we love doing as well as some new dates that we can't wait to perform at on this tour.  So many friends and loyal fans we will get to see and hopefully if we are in a city near you, you'll be able to come out this time. It's the 44th Annual WIVK Christmas Parade, Knoxville, Tennessee!
 
The parade starts at 7:00pm

Parade Route: The parade will step off onto Church Street and travel towards Gay Street, turn onto East Jackson Street and will disband in the Old City. You will see many floats, decorated vehicles, marching bands, majorettes, dancers, plus an appearance by Santa Claus. Let's not forget a special performance by the Kingdom Heirs as they represent Dollywood along with their families!

Carolina LIVE has arrived!  
It has been over 7 years since the Kingdom Heirs have recorded a live DVD.  The last time that a live concert performance was recorded was in 2009 titled "Live At Dollywood".  With a wealth of great songs, 5 #1 songs, a string of top 5 songs and many crowd favorites since then, there's enough material to record a few more DVD's!
 
Coming off of the highly successful album "A New Look", featuring two Dove Award nominated songs The Chain Gang (written by Mark Bishop) and Pieces (written by Dennis Murphy), it was time to record another live performance DVD.  

Carolina LIVE was recorded in Asheville, North Carolina at Trinity Baptist Church.  The Kingdom Heirs performed as only they can with a mixture of tremendous songs with some humor thrown in by Kreis and Andy.  Not to mention an instrumental featuring the reigning 8 time band of the year! 
It was a fun night for all who attended the concert.  A lot of the songs from A New Look were featured as well as a few other songs from the popular Redbook Series.
