Just Beyond The Sunset Goes #1

For the second time in 2013, The Kingdom Heirs have reached the top spot on the Southern Gospel charts.

The quartet’s latest single, “Just Beyond the Sunset” is set to be number one for the month of October. The first radio release from their 2013 album “Redeeming The Time” climbed the charts quickly and allowed the group to celebrate something for the first time in their careers – two chart-toppers in one year.

“It’s a thrill and an absolute blessing to have a number one song, but to have two in the same year is… just incredible.”

The emcee was just as quick to give praise to songwriter Dianne Wilkinson – who also penned April’s number one, “Just Preach Jesus”. French continued, “She’s such an incredible songwriter and this gives her a third number one song this year. We’re excited to see the charts and to share this with Diane – again – we’re overjoyed.”

The Kingdom Heirs released the highly-anticipated “Redeeming The Time” in June and thought the album had a chance to do something special. “We were very proud of the project and couldn’t wait to share it,” French says, “but a lot of hands went into its success.”

“Without the support of [record company] Crossroads, Chris White, Jim Stover, and so many others, we couldn’t be where we are. God is continuing to bless us and we really believe this is the greatest job in the world.”

The Kingdom Heirs are performing regularly at Dollywood and will also be at National Quartet Convention starting September 8th. To connect with the group, like them on Facebook or follow along on Twitter.
